American Legion Auxiliary
Service through the Legion family
The American Legion Auxiliary supports The American Legion and honors those who serve by improving the lives of veterans, military members, and their families.
Service, not self
The Auxiliary advocates for veterans, educates citizens, mentors youth, promotes patriotism, and supports peace and security. Its service includes scholarships, education, leadership opportunities, and meaningful volunteer work.
Eligibility for membership
Eligibility generally includes spouses, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and direct or adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion. Confirm current eligibility, unit meetings, and dues with the local unit.
